AUS - Bangkok Cuisine - Thai Food - Research Blvd. area

Ate there last night and it was so good I went back tonight. The food was amazing and sitting in the restaurant made me feel like I was in Bangkok - gawdy decorations and gilded statues all over the place. The staff even speaks Thai and boy were they surprised when this farang ordered his dinner in Thai!

Aus

Now that we have an Austin nomination I would like to add Garibaldi's Mexican Restaurant on South Congress.

Next time split the bill $400 to each of two credit cards registered to two different programs!

Update coming

Folks, I apologize for not updating the master post in a while. I have been doing a lot of travel for work. Will be in TPA next week for a week long golf school and should be able to do some updates during the evenings.

Sure you didn't mean to recommend Bubba's Alehouse? Or maybe Senses - The Night Club [sic]?

Alas, Glass Onion is no longer in IDINE. Also they announced a new menu this week, which I have yet to see. Bubba's Alehouse is an unassuming neighborhood bar with tolerable burgers. Senses is a good dance club, but I can't say I've tried the food.

Other MEM options include the Bayou, which is a good bar, with tolerable food, and Black Diamond, which is a good divebar on Beale Street.

Dfw

DFW – TX, Dallas - Chez Gerard , Knox-Henderson area, great French Bistro.

DFW – TX, Dallas - Rouge, W. Lover's Lane, Spanish - tapas, paella, truly authentic! Don't ask "Why is it called 'Rouge' and not 'Tinto'!?"

DFW – TX, Dallas - Tramontana, Park Cities area, Spanish-French eclectic.

DFW - TX, Dallas - Nero's, old world Italian, family run, dark and classy.

DFW - TX, Dallas - Blue Fish, Lower Greenville Ave cafe/nightclub area, upscale sushi, exquisitly fresh in a modern chrome & techno-vibe room. Great outdoor patio -- but not in July-August!

DFW - TX, Dallas - Daddy Jack's Wood Grill, Deep Ellum nightclub area, bohemian brick bldg w/ great seafood pastas, classic boiled lobster, fish and fish!

Las Vegas Favorite iDine Location

Mayflower Cuisiner -- http://www.usmenuguide.com/mayflower.html -- gourmet Chinese food a few miles west of the Strip. The food and the service are outstanding!

MKE - Downtown, Eastside - Twisted Fork - Eclectic

A very nice new restaurant on the east side.

MKE - Downtown, Eastside - John Hawk's Pub - American

British themed. It's right along the river, so you'll get great views. You can eat outside along Riverwalk on their patio during the summer.

MKE - Downtown, Eastside - Mo's Irish Pub - Irish

A new restaurant downtown. Haven't been here yet, but I've heard good things about it.

MKE - Downtown, Eastside - Joey Buona's Pizzeria & Restaurant - Italian

A nice Italian restaurant. They serve either family style or individual.

MKE - Downtown, Eastside - County Clare - Irish

A cozy Irish restaurant on the east side.

MKE - West Side - Bjonda - Eclectic

A fine-dining restaurant.

MKE - West Side - Balistreri's Italian-American Ristorante - Italian

Great pizza. They also have other Italian entrees.

As Milwaukee is full of great restaurants, I'm sure I missed a few.

I know it was posted already, but I was pleasanty surprised recently when I saw 2,500 points posted to my United MP from a dinner I hosted for clients at Sam & Harry's in D.C. I've always loved that restaurant when I'm in D.C. which I why I chose it for this dinner. Great steaks and wonderful wine list. When I returned home from my trip, I noticed the credit for the dinner. I hadn't even realized that S&H was on the iDine list!

I think S&H still has a summer promotion that has 50% off its wine list on weekends during the summer. Another great reason to try it.

Tucson

TUS -Tucson - Downtown and East side
- El Charro Mexican Restaurant - great Mexican food at a very reasonable price. Fantastic Carne Seca. This restaurant was featured on Food Finds recently on the Food TV network. Both locations give only 5 miles/$ Sunday-Thursday but they sell gift cards - buy them Sun-Thurs, use them Fri and Sat. Works for me!

I'm all caught up folks!

Please continue to suggest great restaurants and please use the proper format as detailed in my first post - it makes it much easier for me if all I have to do is copy and paste.

SJC- Santana Row - Blowfish Sushi

This is the first time that I can say, that I have been to an iDine restaurant, that was good, hip and trendy. I didn't belong there

Good sushi, but quite expensive $$$

But I would recommend it, lots of beautiful people hang in there
