DCA - Washington, DC Columbia Heights,. Rumberos is one of my favorites. Great happy hour, and good menu. Latin cuisine...one of the best ribeyes I've had...cooked Argentinian style. Daily rewards. I even posted a little story about it on my blog.
Location: SF CA USA. FT addict. I love large faceless corporations. And they cherish me in return (sometimes). ;)

Got 100 Open Table points too.
Great! 100 OpenTable points is (eventually, when you've accumulated sufficient for redemption) worth $1.00 off a meal. And it only cost you $175! Such a deal.

Sure, go ahead and burst my balloon! Merry Christmas to you too! Bah humbug!
STL - STL Downtown - Rooster - Crepes
Great crepes, both savory and sweet. "Hair of the Dog" list. Good coffee. Open for breakfast and lunch (they usually close at 3pm, but check to make sure). The only one of these 3 restaurants easily accessible via the Metrolink (try one of the downtown stations like '8th & Pine'). Casual attire OK.
STL - STL Downtown - Bailey's Chocolate Bar - Dessert
Trendy/romantic place for anything from a pizzeta to a cheese plate to a chocolate martini. Extensive dessert wine and martini list. People there are typically dressed at least with a shirt/slacks.
STL - STL Ladue - Mai Lee Restaurant - Vietnamese
Great VERY cheap Vietnamese restaurant. Casual attire OK. Modern decor (just renovated). The Duck Curry is fantastic. Closest of these 3 restaurants to the STL airport, about a 15 minute drive.
On Washington opposite the TA pyramid.
Fantastic service and great-interesting Italian food served in a mod setting.
A little pricey-but not outrageous for food of this quality. http://mpdining.rewardsnetwork.com/d...rchantId=91134
Came here to look for assessment's of DC (WAS or IAD/DCA/BWI) area iDine restaurants. Have to scan through posts, since not to successful searching on "WAS," "DCA," or "Washington." Any way this thread can be reassembled geographically, that is according to nearby airport(s) to make for easier perusal and discovery of restaurants that might justify the mile-seeking behavior?

Today, I was excited to learn that Proud Bird near LAX will be joining RN soon!
Proud Bird
11022 Aviation Blvd.
Los Angeles, CA 90045
If you like old WW2 era planes and a crash course on LA's once proud aerospace industry, this is the place to go! They serve mouth watering steaks and they have spectacular views of planes on landing approach to LAX 25L/R.
Being so close to the airport (one can take the free LAX "G" Shuttle and walk about 5~10 minutes back on Aviation Blvd, no rental car needed! ), this would be an EXCELLENT place for an LAX DO for all FTers

Did you read the first post? The OP is supposed to update it periodically to incorporate the information added by each new post. However, it looks like it hasn't been updated for almost two years.
(This is another example of why it would be useful to have a "wikipost" feature on FT.)

Since the first post hasn't been updated in awhile, here are some suggestions.
IAD:
Bazin's on Church - I haven't been able to get out there yet, but it's received great reviews
Cafe Antonio's - Good Italian-style Italian food. You won't see spaghetti and meatballs on the menu, but lots of good pasta dishes, salads, and a variety of other entrees (meat, poultry, fish).
DCA:
Pasha Cafe - Mediterranean food. I go there mainly for the walnut-pomegranate dip.
Not near any airport, but near D.C.:
Jaleo's in Bethesda - Good Spanish tapas restaurant
Rock Creek - Haven't been to the one in Mazza Gallery, but the one in Bethesda (not part of Rewards Network) is very good. It has a trendy atmosphere and uses local/organic ingredients.
Olazzo in Silver Spring - Italian food
