no transportation from the airport. Sorry.
Did I get the format right ?

Close. I would use FNT as an airport people actually might recognize. And the location is "Flint/Genesee county" on the United RN site at least.

They could also use the Airport Code Lookup function on FlyerTalk (mouse over the Help in the blue menu line at the top of the page, select Airport Code Lookup from the drop down menu and voila...)

My hat's off to Gardener for volunteering his time and effort to renew this valuable resource.

RIC - West End - Bistro R - Western Med / French skewed bistro fare

Great business lunch or a light dinner with a SO. It's the prime source of my Rewards Network dining points...

Cheers,

SFO - Downtown - Colibri Mexican Bistro - "upscale central Mexican cuisine" -- as an added bonus, they use Open Table for their reservations (opportunity to earn 100 or even 1,000 Open Table dining points per dine, redeemable for future dines at Open Table restaurants)

JFK - East Side - MarieBelle - Chocolate Shop, Cacao Bar & Tea Salon -- Note this is the Madison Ave/Upper East Side location; the Broome St/SoHo location doesn't seem to participate in RN/iDine

The Rusty Harpoon at Whaler's Village (Ka'anapali Beach, Lahaina, Maui) is a new RN/idine restaurant but if you look for it by searching in the neighborhood of Maui, you won't find it.
It is listed in the neighborhood of Oahu.

Rewards are available daily.

There are SEVERAL suggestions for MIA in the first post of the thread!

(Whether any of them still participate in RN is another matter, though. As we all know, restaurants come and go pretty frequently.)

DFW - Bolsa

This is a new place that just opened a few months ago. Everything is very fresh because they have no walk-in freezer. Best meal I had for the entire week that I was there recently.

Brand new listing of this restaurant and one of the best Italian restaurants in the city, right across from a Courtyard, Residence Inn, Hilton, Sheraton, etc. Expensive -- but you don't mind paying when you get great food as well as FF miles.

Yes, very expensive! Had lunch there yesterday and bill for 2 people was $175 with tax and tip. I'm a vegetarian, so my pasta was relatively inexpensive, but I tend to get annoyed with restaurants that push their specials (which are much more expensive than anything else on the menu) without telling you the astronomical price. My customer ordered the sea bass lunch special, and it was $42!

My appetizer and my main course were both described with portobello mushrooms, but the kitchen substituted button mushrooms. It was only after I asked if the price would be adjusted accordingly that they took a couple of dollars off each.

Ah, but you earned MILES!!! That totally makes it worth it, right?

Riiiiiiiight....

My guess is, those who think a $175 lunch for two is "worth it" are on (very generous) expense accounts....
