Delayed / lost bag in Chicago
I wonder if any kind soul can assist.
My son (don't worry, he is 28 so not a minor!) flew out to ORD today from LHR, via MAD (I believe)
His connection time was 35 minutes - I didn't have the heart to tell him that there was no way that both he and the luggage would make the connection.
Just got a text - he is there, but no luggage.
Unfortunately he is also there to do some work, and all his specialist tools are in the case.
The desk said they will get it to him on tomorrow's flight - so should be at the hotel by 5pm their time.
Can you possibly let me know :-
1) What he should claim from them - he has no spare clothes at the moment.
2) What he would claim in the event of the case not turning up tomorrow
as there is nothing on the Iberia website that I can see - I have also done a quick search on here.
IIR I think his work travel insurance said they do not cover tools.
Many thanks in advance - and I can pass it on to him.
