Crediting Avios with CX + KA

Crediting Avios with CX + KA
Right so here's the problem:
I've registered for a Iberia Plus child card however it won't arrive in time for my flight(s). I would like to credit my CX flights to IB instead of BA because I get 0.5 avios instead of 0.25.
Would I be able to claim the avios within 6 months of flying those flights with IB + or not? I'm travelling on Friday in CX L Class fyi.

No, because I've haven't got the IB + membership at all yet (I'm a minor and I have to wait for approval for the application)
