Website just not working?

Hey guys,

Im trying to book an award tix, but Im getting stuck for hours with "It has not been possible to process your request for confirmation". Is anyone else having an issue? I have seen some people online report having this problem and people have commented on a "fix".

Anyone any ideas?

And when I try again, I then get this error:
"It has not been possible to process your request for confirmation as the system is already processing another of your requests. If you are trying to confirm a booking, review the list of trips to check if the trip has been confirmed. (3002)"

Been having this issue for days... tried multiple browsers, multiple computers. ...

I had the same problem and ending up calling. They would not waive the fee.

Hi,

Today, still getting the same error (reservations). Once you wait a few minutes, you then get a second error (already processing a request).

I've contacted IB customer support and they deny there's any problem. Not happy with this service at all; I have 180,000 Avios in IB for the purpose of booking this...

Any ideas what I can do, outside of paying a fee for them to do it on the phone?

Of course, once you wait, it signs you out..

I feel scammed by IB...

If you have a BA Executive Club membership, you could transfer the avios to BA.

It is still not working. Dealing with IB is more than tedious.

Im not familiar with IB->BA transfers, but the IB account is new, so maybe I can't txfer to BA at this time? (Or is that restriction just on BA->IB, not IB->BA).

Also, do you think it's likely I can get the same flights/redemption/taxes by going via BA?

If it's IB metal, you want to redeem direct from IB+.

Don't transfer to BAEC, you will pay more. (For other types of redemption, do transfer to BAEC).

We finally booked via phone.

I see a completely different seat map - 12 rows in J, staggered at the windows (1-2-1). Not on Seatguru.. says it's A340-500. Any tips on good seats (for two)

You'll want to read the wiki in this thread.

I tried for hours, this morning, to book a flight on website, without being able to going through the payment page. In the end I went to my airport ticket desk (10 min from home), got charged 30 euro per ticket and was told that there was no way to select seats for free, even if on the website was possible during the booking.

My first booking experience with Iberia doesn't start well

Does anyone know if IB and BA Avios award availability are the same? Perhaps that is why the Iberia website is not working for me.

Are you trying to book a BA flight? If so, move the Avios and book it from a BAEC account.
