do we already know how the configuration of the "new" A 340-600 will be?
Exists a seat-plan?
In the A 330-300 there are 36 seats in Business, should be some more in the A 340-600, as also the "old" A 340-300 had less than the A 340-600.
Thanks

346 now 342
My LAX-MAD flight in mid-October is now showing "342" instead of the original "346". So I take it that means my chances for "new" Business Plus have been reduced from low to zero. Our seats are still showing as 3J and 3L.
So what is Business Plus on a 342? Is it at least the 180-degree lie-flat or is it angled?

Iberia Plus longhaul offers lie flat seats; they were reconfigured from angled flat some time ago. Discussed in other threads.
The new mormedi design full flat "capsule" Business Plus in the new A330s and coming to the A340s:

MAD - MIA A346; July 2014 new Business Plus?
Looking at booking an award flight on Iberia next July from MAD to MIA. It shows as a A346 with the old seating configuration so is there anyway to know if it will be upgraded to the new Business Plus?
Cheers

Hi all,
I am booked on MAD-LAX 6171 on September 4th. From what I have seen the equipment to LAX was mixed lately with a fair amount of A343s. The seat map shows 7 rows - but I understand that it still may change. Any way to know what aircraft can I expect? I am not very hopeful on new J seats, but still ...
Thanks!
