I have a reservation on IB3166 3Apr. Seat in email from IB is 4L. When I booked my understanding was it operated on A330.
Given the recent changes, would anyone have any updated info on aircraft type for this flight?

Looks like it has been quite the mix recently, but no A330: http://flightaware.com/live/flight/IBE3166

ExpertFlyer has it as an A321 for your date.

Thanks for checking. It's an Avios redemption, I may try to switch it to a different flight where the long haul aircraft is operating

From a quick EF search (since I was curious), IB 3164, which departs 25 minutes after your existing flight, is the only one on IB metal scheduled for an A340 that day.

Joy: Having IB6313 and IB6314 (SJO) change to new seating plan.

Disappointment: Having IB6314 change back.

Fingers crossed I get the new Business Class in one direction...

Anyone flown LIM-MAD recently on IB business class? I see A346 and A345 coming up as the possible planes.. not entirely sure what the difference is but if I read the IB site correctly, only the A346 is retrofitted.

Iberia 6274

I looked up this aircraft to see if the business seats have been upgraded before our flight next month. It looks like it's mostly 333s and once a week a 345. Are these the newly refurbished planes? We fly to Barcelona after landing in Madrid so that's a short flight so we're not really concerned about the plane. It would be nice to hear if anyone has flown this ORD-MAD route recently. Thanks!

6274/5 I though was exclusively an A330 route. They may have added a once weekly rotation for the summer season, though.

I think you have a better than good chance. Almost certain as that's a very important route for them.

Seriously, anybody have a link to seat map with that layout? Thanks!

I also am really struggling with my booking.

Here's the deal:
6 seats in business on multiple IB flights....ALL can be changed online NO Problems BUT one leg - BOS-MAD in mid May - flight #6166.

Will NOT allow that one leg to change seats online (says "System ERROR" when I go through the process)!!!
AND some of my seat's do NOT make sense 3A, 3D, 3H - they don't exist.
SeatGURU makes no sense to me(sorry I have looked at the seat maps above on this page and IB, but I have some phantom seat numbers. And it appears SeatExpert does not sense to have Iberia(?).

I called IB in Spain 3 times x 20 min each - no answer
I called IB in US 3 time x 20 min each - no answer

I find it weird that I have bogus seats (old config?) AND I cannot change that specific leg online....please help.

Thank You for your help
