Iberia Plus or Vueling loyalty program?

I'm based in the U.S., and fly AA most of the time. I will be flying on a few Vueling flights in the early part of next year, while in Europe.

Does it make sense for me to register for Iberia Plus's reward program or Vueling. I am unable to get oneworld/AA credit on Vueling...

Pros/Cons?

you can credit Vueling flights to an Iberia account and then transfer them to a BA account, might give you more options than a Vueling account..
