IB MAD lounge Dinner

Understand IB offers pre-flight dinner for Iberia Plus Gold + Plats flying IB late evening long-hauls even in Y. Is the lounge dinner decent?

Also do they let Oneworld Sapphire and Emeralds (LAN / AA) eat this dinner for free too (if flying on IB late evening long-haul to JNB)

IB have been serving dinner in the lounge for years, not sure when it started, probably when they introduced the BusinessPlus product in 2006. It's served in the lounge in T4S, only for LH flights.

According to the web site it's for pax in C and IB+ Gold and Plat only: http://www.iberia.com/OneToOne/v3/pr...4&isPopup=true

I've only eaten there once, but it was pretty good.

Nowadays IB offers free full buffet dinner for all passengers allowed to use T4S lounge, IMHO much better than dinner at the restautant area (south side of the lounge, when entering go to the right) available for J, IB+ platinum and IB+ gold, not sure about access for OW levels, but don't worry, buffet use to be excelent, also don't forget to visit the wine cellar (left side of the lounge). There are two buffet stations one on the right and another on the left side, this one more convenient for wine selection.
