After some research, it looks like you can join for free if you qualify as one of the following:
You can pay for a larger covered system, which you can read more about it here: https://www.freelancersunion.org/ben...-to-apply.html
Edit: Just signed up (quick and easy) and was able to access this page which gave the Hyatt Corporate Code. Must not be that secret, but they give pretty decent rates! 10% off the Best Available Rate...

Seems they've dropped the Hyatt group code.

Company Travel Program
Received notice from Hyatt today that the discount on Hyatt's Company Travel Program (hyatt.com/hyatt/company-travel/) has been cut to 5% from the previous 10%. I set this up for my company, as it worked fairly well at international locations where Costco is not an option.
You will likely see this affect the "B" discount codes posted here, including the Freelancers Union.

For some properties, corporate codes don't work. I know that mine doesn't in several, particularly in locations where my company does not do much business.

I used this code in Hong Kong Hyatt Regency Tsim Sha Tsui last in 2014 April for 10 night using this code:
90010 LI & FUNG TRADING CO (Tommy Hills) Philips Van Heus
It was $800 HKD off the lowest posted rate. However no upgrade due to corporate rate. Excellent location and hotel facilities. My daily rate was only $1600 HKD. They never asked for my ID. My suggestion is change you Hyatt Gold account profile and add whatever company name you want to use.
