When will some of these hotels open? I'm trying to find info on Andaz Turks and Caicos and Andaz Costa Rica, but nothing but old links... Looking forward to going back to Turks and Caicos.

This probably needs to be combined with the older thread.

It really is a shame what they are doing to that part of the island.

Nothing really newsworthy.... still in the planning stages.
If things are still progressing to the current timelines in 2014 then there might be a PH there. A lot of these announcements simply fail to materialize.

So they are pouring the foundations.... Late 2015 at the earlieast but more likely somewhere in 2016, if at all...

Looks like the development is progressing. Can't find a projected opening date. I'd guess middle of next year.

I called the Hyatt Gold Passport line and they said that currently the opening date is slated for June 2016. Of course, that likely means a little later than that...

Any idea on what the category will be? Probably a 5 or 6, leaning towards 6. Wonder how tough P+C reservations might be to get.

I don't think there is any chance this will be a category 5. I would guess it will be a category 6, but I could also see this being a category 7 if the base rooms are on the larger size like at some other Caribbean resorts. The opening date hasn't been put up on the website yet either, so I'm guessing it will be several months before we have any additional information.
