BREAKF AAA rate ends sep 30?

The BREAKF AAA rate ends sep 30 on the website Does anyone know if it will come back in the fall sometime? I remember this promo being around for alot of the year but maybe more veteran hyatt users can remember. Is it gone cause the FFN starts when this ends?

I tend to try and use that code every time I book a room. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. The promo seems to come and go throughout the year, IIRC.

Did anyone notice that they changed the BREAKF promo?

I used it during the summer and the promo came with free parking as well as free breakfast...

The benefits of that rate seemed to vary by property.

If you can get hold of an Amex small business card with Open Savings there's a similar promo through Nov 30 to tide you over -- http://www.hyatt.com/hyatt/specials/...egory=24601021.

If you book the open rate does anyone check that you bill it to that card? I wonder if most check-in agents even check if you have that card?

So i just searched and BREAK is coming up as available code for December/January. I dont see it listed as an available special. If the system lets me book this will i get free breakfast? Im a little skeptical. Is this special coming back maybe?

I searched the park hyatt hyatt beaver creek december 17 and the hyatt jersey city january 2nd both came up as bookable with BREAKF

Might be a new "winter" AAA promo that hasn't been announced yet (speculating). If it's cancellable as usual, I'd book it, and print out the res showing the inc. free bfast in case I need to show it at check-in to press my case. Then, check later to see if a new promo gets announced, or if there's a better rate. Worse case, you've got the printout you can show to the FD and insist on rate benefits. But I bet there'll be a new AAA promo by then, anyway...like Trustguy says, it's a nice frequent promo throughout the year. I use it most stays, too, and I've probably even booked it when there wasn't a new promo showing, yet, too.

There was one period awhile back when I think they changed the code from BREAKF to something else...but don't recall exactly.

If you add "BREAKF" into Special Offer Code and book AAA Promo Rate at HR Jersey City [+ $ 9.4 (incl. tax.) to "Limited Time" Prepaid Rate], you will see Offer Code "BREAKF"; as hyatt.com let you book this special offer, I am confident you will get a full breakfast for free (unfortunately rate details don't mention breakfast).

If you feel better, why don't you call the hotel?

I just booked the Grand Hyatt San Antonio in December. I selected the AAA/CAA Member Rate on the Rate Type pulldown, and was offered the 25% off the HDR price. No Offer Code needed.

With all due respect, that doesn't address the question I posed. Sometimes other rates are lower than AAA, especially the LTO rate. So if you book the other rate, do you still get the breakfast benefit as an AAA member? In past promos, maybe no - in the current promo, it appears yes....or maybe?

I booked AAA promo rate at HR Dearborn for week before Thanksgiving. The $132.10 rate was the lowest I could find and the rate description actually stated breakfast for 2. I called GP CSR and confirmed that AAA rate do get free breakfast, starting Nov. 1. Just being AAA member is unlikely to get free breakfast.

Just an FYI that I often book AAA rate, and then call to get offer codes added, including G bonus codes. I have found in that past that adding BREAKF or Gx often increases the price.
