My apologies. The United link is the only one I didn't test because I saw it in the T&C on the United forum. There is another link in the post of the UA forum so try this link to get to the United offer:
I have received contrary info from GP CS- one or the other. It will be GP points unless CS is called requesting airline miles instead. So sayeth one CS rep.

I am pleased to learn of the interest in our new promotion which runs from January 9, 2009 through April 30, 2009. I wanted to clarify the terms and conditions of this specific promotion as there seems to be some confusion. The promotion does not offer the opportunity to earn both bonus points and bonus miles from the same reservation. The bonus that you receive will correspond with the type of base credit you choose (ie. if you choose base points, you will receive bonus points, and if you choose base miles, you will earn bonus miles). In order to register for the bonus mileage offer you must register through your preferred airline communication.
Again, I apologize for any confusion this may have caused. Thank you for your continued support of the Hyatt Gold Passport program.
Sincerely,
Karen Smith

Karen,
Thanks for the clarification, but you did leave out the answer to one other question. Can you stay 16 total nights and get both the points and the miles?
Still a good promotion for me -- on the hotel points side I will participate, but on the airline miles side, I would be avoiding crediting to DL, NW, UA and US because of airline miles being devalued and increasingly restricted or gamed with by airline management of those programs. YMMV.

I just spoke with Mary Beth in Hyatt Customer Service. She said you can do both promotions if you stay 16 days. Miles stays must be credited to the airline of choice and points stays credited to Gold Passport. She consulted with a supervisor who confirmed this.
I hope it's right because I'm crediting tonight to AA. It's a HP stay with no G bonus so I'm not losing too much and will gain one night toward the bonus.
Has anyone had a bonus related to this promo post yet? If so, how was it shown in your activity?
I recently completed a 5-night stay and received a 2,000-point bonus. I'm hoping this is just some random bonus that I wasn't counting on rather than a mistake in crediting my account for this particular promotion.

Were all 5 nights after the promo started? If not, then perhaps only 2 or 3 counted in the promo. That might explain it.

Update: Hyatt must have been in the middle of their posting when I looked earlier. Another 4,000 points posted separately later in the day.
