WOH has arrived: immediate signs

Elsewhere in this forum, people have reported the following:

New website is up and down.

New GSUs = Global Suite Upgrades have appeared in former Diamond accounts.

Old Diamond phone number transfers to general Hyatt agents; someone posted that the new Glob number is 888-994-9288 (unverified by me). ADDED: Others have posted 402-952-1125 (not toll free) and 800-233-1234 as the new Glob phone numbers.

*********************

Early this morning I saw a new blue and black on white paper temporary looking sign indicating a check in area for GEDs. The classy crystal HGP Plat/Diamond sign has sadly vanished from the check in counter.

*********************

Any other indications of WOH that you've observed so far in the wild?

The free night Cat 1-7 award extends to 2/27/18 rather than 120 days.

Old Diamond number doesn't work and refers to the WOH site. Tried the contact us number on the site (800-233-1234) and got a 10+ minute wait time.

This agrees with the WOH announcements. The 120 day expiration policy applies to the certs earned after 30 or 60 nights this calendar year.

Oh, I see.

So, this calendar year, we'll earn in addition to a Cat 1-4 night at 30 an additional Cat 1-7 at 60?

I'm pretty sure the expiration date on mine was 28 Feb 2018 and not the 27th. I've used it already, for a night at PH Milan, so I can't confirm the date. The expiration on my suite upgrades is the 28th.

Unclear. My reading of the new rules is that Explorerererists (should we say Explos for brevity?) get the cat 1-4 cert at 30 nights while Globs only get the cat 1-7 cert at 60 nights. Both expire in 120 days.

The sun rose this morning outside the HR Denver CC

I was a 30+ Plat last year, and see the 4 Regency club upgrades in my account. Will see how this stay posts (i.e. under the old GP point bonus or the new WOH point bonus).

Logo was updated on Chase (and it looks hideous next to the CSR/CFU/Marriott logos). Was given Explorist (Diamond last year who didn't requalify) and the 4 club upgrades are in my system.

Does anyone know how to status match from M Life Gold into Hyatt? Is there an email, or the website or I have to call in?

One positive note...the "Retrieve Bill" feature works again!

And to answer the previous question:

Enjoy your matched status into the World of Hyatt loyalty program by emailing [email protected] with your M life Rewards and World of Hyatt membership numbers.

Looks like it went the other way, expanding to three categories not two.
