I still have not received my passes and it turns out I actually have a United flight out of O'Hare middle of next month. Guess I will have to follow up with Diamond Desk if I don't get them in the next few days.

I have requested renewal packet twice - once from Diamond desk and once through twitter DM to Hyatt Concierge. Have received two diamond cards - still no passes.

By the way, in regards to access, looks like the rules are changing. Just saw the following over the Club section at ual.com

Access policy changes
Effective August 18, 2016, all United Club customers, including members, are eligible to access United Club locations only when they have a flight arriving or departing on any airline the same day, and must show a boarding pass for entry. See the complete United Club terms and conditions

I started writing a snippy response pointing out that they had obviously never been sent in the first place, and referencing the FT thread on the subject. But quickly realized there's no point to that.
And you have no proof that the passes weren't sent and lost in the mail.

It's pretty obvious from the two different threads on this subject that there is a problem at the Hyatt end with the 2016 renewal packages.

Add me to the list of people who haven't received their packs.

I don't understand why they're so late in sending them this year!

You don't have to be flying UA to use the passes. Some of the lounges are okay . . . better than sitting in the terminal.

"Effective August 18, 2016, same-day boarding pass is required for entry."

Not sure that agrees after about a month from now. This is written on the back of the packet the silly passes come with.

Frustrating

I just hung up with GP customer service and they said it will take up to 30 days for it to arrive. Tried to pull the same "we'll request another one" get sent out...I said I never got it...she stumbled and said, oh yes, of course, the original just never got sent out.
