Hyatt Gold Passport - 40% bonus on purchased points
I received an email today advertising the Hyatt Gold Passport point sale. I do not know if it is only for Diamond members or for any Hyatt Gold Passport members.
The link I received was personalized and won’t work for others.
When I clicked through I was given the option to purchase between 1,000 and 55,000 points at a rate of about 1.7 cents per point after the additional 40% bonus points. Points were significantly cheaper during the Daily Getaways promotion (if you could score the deal). I value Hyatt points at 1.8 cents each, so this is not a bad deal if you need to top off your points.
For more info and screen shots of the email and website:

Did you get this offer too? If so, what is your elite status?

Nothing yet for me - Diamond. And nothing for my wife - no status.
It is interesting that the max that can be purchased on this offer is 15,000 pts (+bonus). Past offers I have seen allowed purchase up to max allowable for a calendar year (currently 55,000).
Does this offer allow purchase of the 15,000 pts even if you have maxed out the allowable purchase for the year?
I purchased the max 55,000 (+40% bonus) on a special offer in Jan. Since I've been able to get some good P&C rates recently, I've been going through a lot more pts and started to value them as high as 2¢/pt.

I didn't receive it either, but
If you go to the purchase points link on GP, it redirects you to points.com. Once you enter your name and GP number, mine came back with the 40% bonus thru 7/31, so up to 55k with 22k bonus for $1320 is 1.7 cents per. DIA member.

Just the one strange thing is the OP's statement re the 1,000 to 15,000 pts. Could the 15,000 be a typo and should have been 55,000?

You are quite right. This seems very much like the offer that was available a few months back, and also in Jan, which I purchased my max for the year. Now of course if I try to proceed it tells me that I have already reached my max.

The email seems to be targeted, but as rbAA has pointed out, if you go to the purchase site, it is available to all elites (and possibly anyone?).
