My Elite Rate would have to be the winner here; I have no idea why that wasn't initially proffered.

MER.
My stays have been mostly at Hyatt House & Place, where everyone gets breakfast and internet, and there are no lounges or DSU uses. But MER saves me money even at these lower end properties.

If MER is being discontinued, 95% of my 165 stays next year will go to SPG.

Yeah, with MER going away my motivation for bothering with status here is also largely vanishing. There's still one Hyatt I'll use with some frequency (the one at the Orlando airport), but other than that my reason for preferring Hyatt over others this year just got a lot thinner.

Since My Elite Rate is being discontinued, it's especially important to include it on the ballot thus year. Can the poll please be amended to include a way for everyone to vote for MER?

Edit: I think it's pretty fair to say that the added burden of having to write in MER really weighs against that option. I'm inclined to say that there would probably be at least a few votes in the other categories that would have gone for MER had it been listed.
Also, for future? It might be nice to put a putative list up in advance and ask if you're missing something (or indeed, if an option might not be worth listing...over on the VX page, for example, two of the listed options don't have any votes while there's been some trouble figuring out just how to phrase the general write-in option.

I vote for MER. Agree with relaunching the poll with MER included.

Once the poll is launched and votes are being cast, all we can do is remove items with 0 votes. We can't add or change otherwise.
