T & C:

During periods of high demand access to the Regency Club or Grand Club lounge may not be available; therefore Diamond members will receive 2,500 bonus points per stay plus daily complimentary full breakfast inclusive of one entrée (or standard breakfast buffet), juice and coffee (tax, gratuity and service charges included) for each registered guest in the room, maximum four (4) people.

Guys, it certainly looks like things have changed from the way it used to be. . . . .
Your reply is during the day from somebody in Omaha or an overnight e-mail from somebody in India? Who have been inaccurate on several things.

If the Regency Club is closed because it is outside of the normal operating hours then points would not be given.

So if the Club has some planned dates to close, does this mean it is outside its normal operating hours?

Normal operating hours would be the Club is normally open just Monday-Friday or is only open on weekends etc. It would be the normal Club hours for the Hotel.

So if it's closed for renovations for a month, points would be given?

That is absolute BS. I have always gotten points when a club is not open on certain days, like weekends. So, now we are saying that a hotel can just close the club whenever they want as "normal operating hours"? No one expects points for club access at 11pm when the club closes at 9pm, for example, but saying they just do not open it at all on weekends and you now are not getting points for that is absurd.

That makes no sense.

So does this still apply? If the Club is closed on weekends, I used to be awarded 2,500 points. Is this no longer the case??

This has been clarified by Gold Passport Management if the Regency Club is closed for any reason you would recieve the club closure points. This includes renovations, scheduled closure or regular Club closure hours.

Thank you for the clarification as well as the clear and precise language! This definitely removes all ambiguity on this subject.
