If the Regency Club is closed because it is outside of the normal operating hours then points would not be given.

That is absolute BS. I have always gotten points when a club is not open on certain days, like weekends. So, now we are saying that a hotel can just close the club whenever they want as "normal operating hours"? No one expects points for club access at 11pm when the club closes at 9pm, for example, but saying they just do not open it at all on weekends and you now are not getting points for that is absurd.

Hello everyone,
I hope everyone is having a great Wednesday! I just wanted to provide some clarification about the 2,500 bonus has not been changed. If you the Club is closed, you will be awarded 2,500 bonus points.
If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know.
Thanks,
Dana M.

This has been clarified by Gold Passport Management if the Regency Club is closed for any reason you would recieve the club closure points. This includes renovations, scheduled closure or regular Club closure hours.
