Yeah I go to the website, and click the Opt-in link, it sends me to mlife.com/hyatt where I chose to sign in to my existing Mlife account, then I just get dumped to my account summary page. Doesn't seem like there's anywhere to actuallu put in my Hyatt info.
I guess I'll try to do it over the phone.
Edit: The woman on the phone said that she would email my information over to someone to have my status upgraded. Mlife website now shows me as Platinum

Working!
Very happy to say that it appears to be working!
My mLife profile now says that I have Platinum Status to match my Hyatt Diamond Status

"Select M life members can also enjoy matching Hyatt Gold Passport tier status based on their M life Tier Level." Does this mean not all M life members will be matched to their Gold Passport tier?

Probably just means only Mlife members with high enough status, not every sapphire.

Would this MLife status be only for one year? Will it renew if I re-qualify for Hyatt Diamond?
I don't plan on visiting LAS soon so should I opt in now and let the MLife status sit there or opt in once I know I will have a trip to LAS?

Should I receive an MLife card at some point? I booked NYE through MLife a few months ago, but never received a card. I assume it would be used in the casino and at check-in for verification purposes or are we to use our Hyatt Passport card?

Wirelessly posted (iPhone: Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; Android 4.3; Nexus 4 Build/JWR66V) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/28.0.1500.94 Mobile Safari/537.36)
Looks like you need to be logged in at Hyatt.com and then mlife draws upon the Hyatt account data when you click on "opt-in".
