Never had an issue with any stays posting to my account. I booked a stay for the first time through Hyatts website instead of the Mlife website, and now the stay has not posted. Did the same thing at check in as always and made sure the numbers were in the reservation and active when I checked in, but no credit. Mlife just gave me the standard 30 day nonsense when I emailed. I don't need to wait 30 days to know there is a problem when 20 previous stays all posted in 4 days or less. Definitely will NOT be booking any stays there through the Hyatt site any more. Not to mention it was $4 more expensive on there anyway.

same here. combination of this plus confirming at check-in that my HGP number is on the reservation and within 2-3 weeks the points and stay credit shows up.

Do we get both mLife Tier credits and Hyatt GP points when staying at a Hyatt property? A lady at Hyatt GP says we only get one and not both.
I wasn't sure if this was correct since we get both mLife Tier credits and Hyatt GP points when staying at a mLife property.

If you stay with Hyatt there is no means to involve Mlife. For credit it's a one way exchange... just like there is no way to book Hyatt properties through the Mlife website, but the Hyatt site does show Mlife properties.

Yeah when I book through Mlife (every time except this last 1 time), the stays post with no issues in about 3-4 days. This one time I booked through Hyatt.com, the stay has not posted now 8 days later and counting. Definitely won't use the Hyatt site again.

If you stay at the MGM from Friday to Sunday and then check in to the Luxor on Sunday, does that count as 2 stays?

yeah, admittedly i was generalizing. most of the time it gets posted within 1 week. there was one time it took 2-3. just used the longer duration as lowest common denominator for the response.

Has anybody figured out a more direct way of cancelling mlife reservations?
My experience so far is:
I think in future I'll just pay the extra and book on hyatt.com, since I can cancel in 30 seconds if necessary...
My experience so far is:
- Call number on confirmation email
- Try to get voice recognition system to connect you to specific hotel
- Spend 5 minutes with your reservation details before told that it's a different department and they will transfer you
- Call gets lost... hang up...
- Try again...
- Repeat process...
- Get to correct place finally and cancel reservation...
- "Can I please cancel a reservation at another casino"...
- No, sorry, I can't, let me transfer you...
- Call gets lost... hang up...
- Try again...
- Repeat process...

I called the MGM Grand number, hit "1,1" (reservations), then spoke with an operator. It took a total of 5:33 to cancel two reservations, including the time for me to go find the credit cards I'd used to make them. (I had the confirmation numbers.)
True, it's easier to cancel online, but that wasn't at all painful.

if you made it via the mLife website just call the number on the back of your card for the appropriate property. Never had any trouble getting through and usually no hold time.

I have mLife status via Hyatt; I don't believe I've received a card. Do I need it for anything?
