Are FFN a thing of the past?

I check here every once in awhile and don't see anything. I haven't heard of such a promo in a long time (a year? two years? awhile, anyway). Does GP not do the classic "stay 2 get 1 free" any more? As I recall it was always or usually tied to a Mastercard payment for the stay.
