Hyatt GP has officially jumped the shark.

I love me some Hyatt, but the death of Hyatt promos (I think it's time we accept that it's officially dead, or at least in a coma now) is definitely sad.

I guess they will soon find out what happens you run turd after turd after turd....they should call this the "TESTING YOUR LOYALTY" phase of Hyatt.

this promo (if it's true)

WOW. You have GOT to be kidding me. Well, clearly occupancy and ADR must be GREAT for Hyatt since they clearly do not need a worthwhile promo of any sort to bring people in. Sucks for us but they obviously don't need us.

Terrible Promo, only if you really stay 16 nights its worth something, but cmon 16 nights in 90 days? For non-US nearly impossible. And if someone has 16 nights in this period he would have them without the promo too. It adds nothing for me though. Hyatt: No stays for you!

There's a whole lot of questions still unanswered...

I think it's better than what SPG is offering this quarter.

The chart is pretty clear to me.

Stay 4 nights get 4000 points + 1000 if you have Hyatt CC.
Stay 4 more for a total of 8, and get an EXTRA 8000 + 2000 for a total of 15k
Stay 4 more for a total of 12, get an EXTRA 12000 + 3000 for a total of 30k.
Stay 4 more for a total of 16, get an EXTRA 20000 + 5000 for a total of 55k.

If you do not have the Hyatt card, subtract 1k, then 2k, then 3k, then 5.

Honestly, if you stay 16 nights and have the CC...it is a DECENT (not great, but decent) promo. Otherwise it is total trash, when considering previous promos have been things like stay 5 and get 15k right off the bat, and those promos were not even that great. I mean, realistically, if you factor in the elimination of Gx bonuses, these are even worse.

Pretty weird considering Hyatt has run a FFN THIRTEEN times in the years from 2001-2010, with at least one EVERY YEAR until 2011, where they had 0. Also, every one of those promos was stay 2 get 1 anywhere, no limit, except for the very first one in 2001. Now, we get relegated to ever worsening promos.

Said it before, I will say it again....that stupid credit card was the worst thing to ever happen to Hyatt and I hated it when I heard it was coming out.

Couldn't agree with you more! After having waited so long for a Hyatt promotion, this is really quite disappointing. Hyatt is really testing our loyalty and patience, especially those of the international members who are not able to apply for (benefit from) the credit card.

I just recall that it may be the worst promo of Q1 comparing with other major hotel chains.

well, after ignoring Hyatt for another 3 months, luckily we'll still have another 8 months till the end of the year to (re)qualify for diamond.
I'm not going to stay at Hyatts till then. Consider it a manifest, if you wish. lol

It's a give-give relationship, Hyatt, not any other way.

well, this promo is better if you do cheap one-two night stays mon-wed vs hilton and starwood. ONLY.
(assuming top tier status with a given chain)
