Hyatt 250 Bonus Points - Foursquare Check-in
While at the Hyatt Regency in San Antonio last weekend, I noticed a FourSquare check-in bonus of 250 Hyatt Gold Passport points for "checking in" to the hotel on FourSquare (if you were a registered guest at the Hyatt Regency). It wasn't an automated process where your FourSquare and Hyatt Gold Passport accounts are linked (the way that SPG accounts worked). The bonus indicated you had to show the FourSquare checkin to the front desk to have your points applied.
The clerk at the front desk and the manager had both never seen the bonus before, and they said they were going to have to call Gold Passport to see how to apply the bonus points.
A search of nearby places showed that it was also available at the Grand Hyatt down the street. I haven't noticed this at other Hyatts.
Has anyone seen this before at another Hyatt?
I wrote more about the hotel and the bonus points on my site if you want more info.

Thanks for the head's up! I did not see anything for the HR Waikiki last weekend, but I'll keep my eyes peeled at the MCI HP, GH SF, & Andaz WeHo.

The other Hyatts outside San Antonio that I randomly checked didn't seem to have this bonus either, but it is worth paying attention in case there are others out there.
