1800 WN 2.0 points per stay, limit 5. After the fifth one, a 10K bonus. This is 19000 points, worth about $317 on WN WGA fares. So obviously, on cheap stays, it basically pays for itself.
I know little about Hyatt. Will this be stackable on top of any Hyatt points, or anything else? Thanks.

Thanks for posting this - more details
But to answer your question - you would need to choose to earn WN RR points rather than Hyatt points at check-in (you won't earn both). However, it should be stackable with the current Possibilities promo (10k Hyatt points for 5 nights and 5k points for 2 nights thereafter).

I don`t fly Southwest but if Peter is right and it stacks with the 10k points promo then this seems like a hot deal. I just checked on Southwests page and it seems that I could get 2 cheap round trips from Den for 15000 RR points. Maybe not doing Southwest I`m wrong.
I'm not really sure how the new southwest program works. (I will go read up on it)
However I did see this offer for a free 250 WN points and 60 mcr for new rapid reward signups, for anyone else who is going to do this promo and doesn't have an account. http://tinyurl.com/64yz278

I don't fly WN either but I'm pretty sure I'm right since the 10k Possibilities promo is a "sweep" one where it's not attached to a particular stay but posts in a "sweep" after the stay itself posts (stay would need to be credited to WN so no double dipping with GP points on this).
This is basically the same type of promo as last year's MULT0 promo and others with AA & UA etc.

Essentially a WN point is like cash. In the cheap fare buckets, points are worth 1.67 cents (60 per dollar). So if you find a $60 fare, it's 3600 points. This way, you aren't "wasting" a 25K/50K legacy award ticket on a cheap fare. Obviously, pluses and minuses.
No blackouts (use just like cash for any available ticket), no expiration with point earning every so often. Get 110K points in a calendar year (bonus points over 600 from hotels and rental cars typically don't count here) and you get a Companion Pass, allowing someone to travel with you free for up to 2 years every time you fly even on an award trip. This is one of the best deals in all of FF-land, IMO. Point accrual on flights has nothing to do with distance; it's completely based on class of service, dollars you pay, and elite status bonuses.

I'm confused... so for those of us who are *not* Southwest WN members, this doesnt apply? I went ahead and registered and now I'm not sure if that was the right thing to do.

You can only change the earnings to "miles" at each check-in. WN RR points/miles will post with each stay with the promo mentioned in this thread. The GP points from the Possibilities promo will post after 5 nights initially and each 2 nights subsequently.

If you don't choose WN RR miles at each check-in, registering won't do anything for you so don't worry.
