Andaz Tokyo. Definitely upping the Hyatt game on the Tokyo hotel wheel.

I totally agree. Andaz Tokyo is quite possibly my favorite of all Tokyo hotels.

The Andaz concept is something different that has worked extremely well in Tokyo. This hotel manages to provide superlative service and F&B, but at the same time it is a refreshing departure from the city's more conventional high-end hotels.

My other favorite is Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok, especially for the Spa Cottages. They are a relaxing oasis in the heart of Bangkok.

I think the building is a refreshing change from the norm too. From the washi paper elevators to the Hollywood lights in the walk in

Their salon and cultural events. The spa. Rooftop yoga.

The adventurous and 'exciting' Tavern menu (for a hotel restaurant in Tokyo). Very few other hotels will have a fried rabbit on the menu!

The hotel is really architecturally stunning. I love the tavern for many reasons. Its fantastic management team and staff, the sheer quality of the ingredients, the innovative menu, and the wine selection, among other things. I love Austrian wines and was delighted to see that the F&B director/Executive Chef had included wines from his native country. In short the F&B operations at this hotel are a class act.

Oh, and the private dining rooms of various sizes are all exquisite. The smallest one is perfect for a romantic dinner for two.

I would have to make a motion to add Park Hyatt Dubai to the list and here is why.

1) Views across the creek of the Burj Khalia from your room leaves no doubt you're in Dubai.
2) Redemption is great at 25,000/night and a great place to use DSU as the suites are large and include some perks like breakfast and minibar.
3) The hotel really does feel like an oasis that you can escape to amidst the hustle and bustle of Dubai.

A personal favourite of mine too. Those spa cottages are amazing, and is especially great value with a treatment thrown in! Club access and all are included as well, although that's less relevant for Diamonds who get access anyway. Definitely worth every penny.

Sure wouldn't be where I'd spend $800/n in Bangkok
