NEW PROMO: Hotel Bounceback Offer - Earn Vouchers 7/1 - 12/30 - Redeem 9/13 - 12/30

I just checked into a Hyatt and received a voucher I had never seen before. The hotel said they just arrived today and are being distributed by participating properties until they are gone. They said they received three boxes (not sure how many are in a box and the desk manager said they may receive more boxes). I it interesting since you can book the offer starting 7/1/2010 (19 days ago) that they just received the vouchers at the hotel today. FYI - this is not a GREAT offer, but an OK one if you're planning a few longer stays this fall.

VALID SEPTEMBER 13 through DECEMBER 30, 2010. Visit hyattbounceback.com to book your stay and reference offer code BBCK10.

The special website (hyattbounceback.com) does not seem to be operational yet. When you go there you are immediately redirected back to the main Hyatt page.

The terms and conditions are as follows:

Offer is $75 credit toward eligible charges for a two-night stay, $125 credit for a three-night stay, and $150 for a stay of four or more nights. Hotel Bouceback Offer valid for reservations booked 7/01/2010 to 12/30/2010 for stays 9/13/2010 to 12/30/2010 at participating full service Hyatt, Hyatt Regency, Grand Hyatt, and Andaz hotels in the US, Canada and the Carribean. Not valid at Park Hyatt, Hyatt Place and Hyatt Summerfield Suites or at Hyatt resorts. Reservations are subject to availability and must be made in advance. Guest must request offer code BBCK10 at time of reservation to receive credit offer and relinquish certificate at check-in. A minimum 2-night stay is required and check-in Thursday through Sunday is required to use certificate. Reservations must be booked online at hyattbounceback.com or by calling 800 233 1234. The credit is capped at $150. Only valid on eligible charges posted to your room bill. Eligible charges do not include room rate, packages, taxes, gratuities, service charges, resort fees, casino charges and charges at concessions in the hotel not owned and operated by hotel. Credit is earned per night and applied to room bill based on length of stay. No refunds for any unused portions. Certificate will not be replaced if lost, stolen or otherwise destroyed. Certificate is non transferable and may be reproduced, copied, purchased, sold or otherwise transferred for monetary value. Void if copied, reproduced or transferred. Any unauthorized transfer, sale or reproduction constituted fraud. Cash redemption value is 1/100th cent. Offer not valid for groups or convention, award stays, travel agent rates, Hyatt employee rates or stays booked through third parties and may not be combined with other promotions. Only one certificate may be used per stay and certificate must be surrendered at check in. Additional guests may be subject to additional hotel charges. Additional charges apply to room type upgrades. A limited number of rooms are allocated to this offer. Blackout periods may apply due to seasonal periods or special events and normal arrival/departure restrictions apply. Hyatt reserves the right to alter or withdrawal this offer at any time without notice.

Hope this information is useful. I couldn't find the T&Cs anywhere online so I had to retype them from the little voucher.

Thanks for posting; this one may be quite useful this year. Is any stay required to obtain the certificate or are they just giving them away for asking? It also seems a little odd that for 2 and 4 night stays the credit is $37.50/day but for a three night stay the credit is $41.67/day on 3 night stays. Finally, can this be stacked with other promos (e.g. DELISH or the COSTCO or AARP deals)?

Since they can't go towards room rate, I'd assume you can apply them towards AAA, Costco bookings. I hope that parking is a valid cost.

I'm guessing this is a YMMV issue. The FD agent said these would be handed out on CHECK-OUT. I can see people who don't typically stop by the front desk at check-out getting short end of the stick on this one. Guess I'll be stopping by the desk for the next couple months.

thanks for posting this. I did try out a few of my upcoming reservations in fall, but the promo rate came out more expensive than what I already had...$125 back for paying $250 more than for example for a 3 for free offer...will check again, I am sure in some cases it will turn out to be a good deal.

I'm confused about this offer... if it is a rate code that gives credit, what is the voucher for? Is the credit only used toward a future stay? Is the credit (voucher) earned on any eligible stay and then the rate code is used to redeem?

I don't get what the promo is at all.

Just picked up one of these at the Hyatt Regency Cambridge. Does anyone have (or know where to find) a list of participating properties? Do international properties count? I've tried the code at a few properties in Asia/Australia without any luck.

Is this the "third quarter promotion" we were promised? If so, it is lame.
