hyatt agents & new reservations

do hyatt agents get rewarded when you make a reservation with them?

I'm just wondering if I should stop making reservations over the internet

Thanks!

While I thoughtful question, I find my reservations are most likely to get messed if I use an agent. I only use them when I absolutely must.

Hmm... I've done it once with an agent over the phone, for a Diamond Suite Upgrade, and it turned out well, even made it onto the website which reportedly they usually do not.

Mine always go to the website.

2/2 is good ...wait 'til you're up to 25 and see if that's gone down some.

Unf, you have to call for the suite upgrades. My last one was never actually applied. I generally find I'm calling a few times to get something done correctly.

This is a good question - don't know the answer - I'll ask my Private Line Agent next time i have to contact her.

My Private Line agent told me (after I asked) that she DOES get credit for making reservations. I've always handled my routine reservations online and just used her for the more challenging issues. Now I'll be more inclined to reward her by giving her some of the easy stuff!

I always make my reservations online (when the website is working.) I just don't like having to wait on the phone.

+1 confirmed.

I hadn't really considered this until I saw this thread, so I asked my private line rep today if it benefits her to do my reservations. She absolutely gets "credit" for doing the reservations for us vs the website.

In the past, I had booked my own about 50% of the time when I was on the website assuming I was saving her work. No more.....
