We normally stay at the StR, however were unimpressed with our last few stays so booked into the GH SIN for our two night stay. Booked and confirmed into a Grand Suite King in the Terrace Wing.

We normally book hotel transfers for ease of travel, however the SD$195 is an outrageous price. As it turns out you can get an E Class for SD $55 flat from the ground transporation desks at all arrival halls at Changi.

I had some communication with the hotel prior about our very late check in and some items we wanted printed and delivered to our room as well as some items for the concierge to arrange. We were swiftly checked in, escorted to the lifts and everything was waiting in our room including a huge welcome amneity: A bottle of Pinot Grigio, twolarge bottles of Evians, four boxes ofdelicasies, fruit plate, candles and two welcome cards.

I had low expectations of the hotel and while it is not as glamarous as the STR it is certainly furnished well with all of the wood. Just like the common areas this use of natural materials gives a sense of calm and serenity. It felt a little like the renovated GH HKG.

The suite was an odd shape but it worked. An entrance space, large living area with office desk space, large bedroom and a large bathroom and closet.

We discovered what makes this hotel is the club lounge staff. They were all friendly, interactive and exceptional. Breakfast was decent though it's a shame they don't offer breakfast downstairs for a reduced upcharge but it sufficied. The evening canapes were substantial but the club got very full shortly after 6PM. High quality liquor.

The spa was a large disappointment. The jacuzzi, steam and sauna are made from concrete rather than anything designed to relax the senses.

Overall a decent corporate hotel and would stay there again. They granted a 5:30P check out. Just note there can be a long delay for taxis so prebook if possible.
