Odd that you can "win" something that you paid for, but who wants the IRS headache?

In the original LMT fiasco one did NOT pay the $1 they originally advertised.
They changed the rules to define it as a contest.
But the weeks that many "won" at spectacular properties was usually worth the tax.
This $10 deal is not likely going to $0, so no need to worry about taxes.
I just worry if I really want to stay in these low-end properties.

Looks like the 4.5 star Cancun is the Hilton Golf and Spa Resort.
4* Brussels is probably Holiday Inn City Center.
Haven't yet found any $10 dates though.
Seems LMT advertises the deal before loading $10 inventory.

Sorry, MrHallliday, I should have put in my post that I already figured out all of the new hotels and put them in Post #1. Didn't mean to have you go through that duplicate effort.

You are very good about updating that post #1. Thanks !
Now if we could actually see some $10 days.....
OK, even $-8.18 will do.

No need to Google, or to guess
You don't have to Google or to guess to determine what the mystery hotels are.
LastMinuteTravel is owned by a Florida company called Tourico Holidays. Tourico has their own site that exposes the hotel ID's, which are the same across sites.
So, for example, when you click on LMT for the 2* Kissamee deal, you go to a page with this URL:
Note the Hotel ID is 1739.
Now, plug it into this URL
replacing the underscores with the ID from above. In my example, that's:
It's exposed as the Howard Johnson of Kissamee. This should work for all the deals, and any other LMT "undercover" hotel.

I would take anything less than the $60+/night in Cancun they're showing right now, not that it's a bad price either...
I didn't google or guess either, but my method was slightly more rigorous than yours. I just looked at the number of rooms in the $10/night property and compared that to room numbers for the hotels that come up when you search for vacation packages in the same area and quality level. To each his/her own I guess!

Well, considering I couldn't find any $10 or below rates at any of the new places, I would assume they changed their mind. Doesn't surprise me...

Sadly, LMT is still screwing its users. Booked a Hotwire purchase for $39+ taxes and the same hotel shows here for $110.

#1 on the list of Dirtiest Hotels in America. Ewwww!
- Feces smeared on the bathroom walls
- Semen stains on the lazy chair
- Half of a bedsheet (visibly cut with scissors)
- Three massive holes in the walls & bathroom door
- Carpet soiled with mud and other obscure substances
- Thermostat hanging off the wall by its wiring
- Black Mold covering every crevasse of the bathtub
To address my concerns, the hotel staff issued me a $15 credit against the room rate. Yay

Kissimmee and Houston have now bit the dust as well and I have updated post #1 as such. Again, I have a hard time believing they "sold out" of those cities since they made it so difficult to find applicable dates.
