Note the fine print:
Quote:
Please note you are within cancellation penalty of a full fare fee
No-show is subjected to a full fare fee
Luckily, nothing about needing to turn over a social security number or other ridiculousness.
If you find availability dates of the $10 rate, please post it or PM me and I will update this post.
Not part of the $10/night deal per se, but for many of the date ranges I tried for the hotel in Houston (not Atlanta as the title of this post states... sorry for the typo...), the rate for the first three nights was normal (not $10) and the fourth night listed as "Free". Not sure if this is of any use to anybody, but might be worth a look.

Reason: typos
This is even a bigger pain in the arse than what I had to go through with them to get the St. Regis in NY during the $1 sale. I've put in 34 dates thus far on the NY hotel and haven't seen a $10 rate yet. I'm stopping. Good luck.
Okay, it's official... there are absolutely no dates that are $10/night in NYC. I searched every single date in 2009 and 2010 up to today's date (in 30 night increments), and there wasn't even one night that came up as $10. LMT, if you're watching this, and I highly suspect you are, you have about 5 minutes to give me a reason not to bring a false-advertising claim against you.
Edit: OMG They have now removed the San Francisco deal and replaced it with "More $10 deals coming soon"... yeah, right...
the site is acting a bit weird, chaos can lead to opportunity.
Searching June 6-10 for NYC, the same 3-star pops up,
Jun 9/10 shows as $12.96 a night, in the matrix display,
but does not book out individually.
edit to add: YES IT DID FOR A FEW MINUTES,
had $12.96 the night of June 9 in the cart,
but went back to modify to 2 nights, and lost it.
Now $79 nightly consistent across the June matrix.
It's right there, ready for me to hit "purchase".
New York Midtown 3-star.
Jun 7-10 $12.96 a night + + = $47.49 ai 3 nights.
Do NOT stay here! Any positive review cannot be legitimate. I made the mistake of using an awful opaque site (Lastminutetravel) and thought I was getting a three star. Sure enough this place lived up to its 1-star class as listed here. So much was wrong I'm not sure where to start. The room was lime green with florescent lighting that made the place feel like a prison waiting room. Repairs had been done to the walls and ceiling, yet they had not repainted. There was NO HEAT! I asked about it and all they could offer was an extra blanket. From other reviews below, their lack of heating is a permanent situation. The cable TV was on the fritz. Only three channels came thru clearly. The bathroom had a nasty odor, probably from the mildew. There was an ironing board, but no iron. I requested one and they gave me a corroded iron that left a copper stain on the tissue I wiped against it. It would have ruined my shirt had I used it. The bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable. The tiny elevator must be powered by a hamster wheel as it takes forever to move from floor to floor. There's a view of the park... BUT the windows are so filthy you can barely tell. Oh, and you'll have to listen to the people in the bathroom next door when they do their bizness cuz the walls aren't sound-absorbing in the slightest.
The Astor on the Park is the place to recommend to your enemies. Seriously, I cannot stress enough that this place is worse than setting up a tent in Central Park. And please be wary of using opaque sites when booking in NYC. (I just checked out of the place two hours ago and I'm so upset by my experience that I had to write this immediately to blow off some steam.

Wow, thanks to the OP...
Am in for one of the $10 nights at the Midtown Atlanta Hotel, $11.80 a-i on LMT. Am launching a trip to Florida on the next morning, so I get to take MARTA down to the airport and build it around $4/day MARTA overnight parking.
FWIW, on doing some more online research, the place was formerly a Wyndham and supposedly got cut loose for not doing renovations. Trip Advisor reviews are mixed...parking costs quite a bit, if people try to take cars there.
I saw rates of $12.94 (don`t know why that number) for the 3* NYC hotel that is probably Astor in the Park.
I saw June 7-10 for sure. At any rate, I couldn`t book it right now, and when I went back to the LastMinuteTravel.com page a few minutes ago, the $10 link is gone anyway.
