I thought the promo terms stated a maximum of ten 40GBP vouchers can be earned per account per person (since each person is supposedly only allowed to sign up with one email address)... although there is nothing to stop anyone from creating 10 accounts...
I can confirm the bookings made with the vouchers work! No unexpected hassles with the prepaid bookings. Good 2 know, at least.
I can confirm that the vouchers and pre booking is as good as gold as well.
I referred my brother and he booked using his for a room last weekend at the grand millennium KL. I followed that up with the 40quid voucher that I received for the referral to book another room in the same hotel for my parents who are on the same trip as him.
No hassle whatsoever with regards to the booking. However, my sister in law was extremely annoyed that when they tried to check in at 1pm, they were told that their rooms were not ready. No problem, so out they went shopping and have lunch. Coming back at 6pm they were again told that their rooms were not ready! This is when the fireworks starts But once they got through this hoop, everything else was fine.
I don't have an Expedia.co.uk account but I've been able to receive 40 GBP vouchers.

Interestingly, I saw a vastly less expensive "24 hour sale" rate at the UK site as compared to expedia.com. I wondered whether that is because it is already Tuesday in the UK, and whether a comparable dollar rate will soon appear on the US site when the 24 hour sale starts here.

If you log into your referafriend account, can you tell from there if the bookings have been made by your referred persons? I know they have been made, but the referafriend account page doesn't say one way or another for me.

i got £40 vouchers sent to me with diffrent numbers but only made one booking on very newest friends account,(wink) not sure if both will work but im willing to give it ago.
But once they got through this hoop, everything else was fine.
