nice nice. Thanks OP

Question: do stays booked using NFAF code count toward Platinum status? how about air miles?

this promo code only worked for me in Vancouver.

i found lower rates by not using the code in Toronto and Montreal.

I forgot to even look to see who might have a cash back referral offer before booking my reservations! Fatwallet and Ebates both offer 3% cash back with fairmont.com!

Everyone is aware that this code works on www.raffles.com and www.swissotel.com too, right?

I just tried the swissotels in Moscow and Istanbul for a couple of different dates. No discount in Moscow, and it only took 10 Euros off in Istanbul.

Of course, it could just be my dates. These guys have a pretty bad online rez system.

Keep in mind it says subject to availability. I am sure this rate is blocked at peak times.

If the revenue manager at the hotel is doing their job, yes.

Yeah, the randomness of availability here is pretty shocking.

I just booked the Boston Fairmont Battery Wharf (again) using NFAF but not using a booking code. NFAF rate is good, lowest prepaid is $315, best refundable without the code is $415. The water taxi goes directly from the airport to the hotel.

Combined with a non-stop flight, triple miles, double elite qualifying miles and spring in Boston this is a winner

Thank you CanuckFlyHigh!

Looking forward to your update. I'm confirmed for three nights in mid-May with the missus for our 10-year anniversary!

And I am sure that it is not blocked for some peak times!

Re: Swissotel
Some examples for which it works for tonight...
London GBP 110
Zurich CHF 100
Chicago USD 208
Dusseldorf EUR 49

I would HIGHLY recommend making the booking WITH a booking code. This is a friends and family rate, thus, you want to be linked to an employee. The OP at RFD.com originally told me that the flyer from fairmont said that the booker ID was required. (he obviously had financial gain from this, but still, I wouldn't risk it.) Like I said, when my parents checked in to Hotel Macdonald, there were no issues and we had the booker ID in the line. She mentioned that she saw they were on the Friends and Family rate referred by an employee.

Sure is, haven't found any good deals on random dates during peak season in Maui or Big Island.
