Some sweet deals using the Expedia coupon. In about half the markets I've looked at, I can get to "priceline-like" rates on 2 and 3 star hotels. Of course, there will be some hassle in booking multi-night stays.
It's kind of nice to be able to avoid priceline, as I seem to be on a streak of "bad" 3 star hotels (like getting Four Points instead of Hyatts). It's nice to have more say in where you stay!
The Expedia deal is also useful if your travels are taking you to priceline-less small towns. As long as its an "Expedia Negotiated Rate," you can use the coupon.

Yes its great in competing with priceline and in getting free Vegas hotels.
The hotels are also much more likely to honor bed type requests and any status that you might have with the chain.
