Just to clarify, that code only works for 3* and up hotels - so better to go with the expedia code since they seem to have identical rates if you're looking for almost free Vegas rooms...

Anyone had success with the joie de vivre promo code for Virgin America(sorry, I wrote Atlantic above)?
Tried a few places around San Fran for this week, but stating invalid code.
Although now found works for Galleria Park hotel at 15% discount.

Well, I thought I'd test the code on the Pacific Edge site since they were specifically mentioned. I don't see a promo code box. No code boxes anywhere!
I did a generic LA search on Joie de Vivre and see there's a rate drop-down menu box with a whole slough of promos (AAA, SF FILM SOCIETY, etc). Don't know if any codes are needed to use those though. Virgin is not there.

Long story longer, I called the res line and got a few tidbits:
-- The 'VA' promo code is available at the Galleria, 1nt min.
-- Other hotels offer 15% off, but under different promo names.
-- Some hotels require 2nt stays for 15% off.
Best thing to do is call and ask if the props you are interested in offer 15% off. Also, I would ask if there are any better discounts. 1-800-738-7477 (US & Canada)

Well, I joined. Thanks. Hopefully, we get the coupon and there aren't too many restrictions.
On another matter, I have a 2-night "small town stay" next month where I can't play priceline or any of the chain promos and could really use some decent bonus money to use on hotels.com, travelocity, etc. It seems like the best currently available is that 20 pounds off on an expedia site. Anyone see a better 2-night hotel bonus? It seems like the hotel promos were a little better a month or so ago.
