I think Expedia has fixed the problems with mainline major carrier domestic flights not working with the promo. EVERY flight combo I tried with every major carrier (I tried AA, CO, DL, NW, UA) that previously did not work ARE now working with the 200IHG promo this morning. Remember, they still have to be non-refundable flights to make the promo work, though.
Confirm CO now working. EWR-SJU, nothing too special, as hotels are not the cheapest, but ... $200 off for a trip I planned to take anyway ...
$124.19 total. LAX-CUN. AA. 9/18-9/21. Holiday Inn Express Playa del Carmen. Total is $303.19 but taxes are $123.20 so it has to be $323.19 or higher. I added a calling card for $20.00 and a PC World subscription for $1.00 so the total would be higher than the taxes after coupon. Total was $324.19 less $200.00 = $124.19. Probably the cheapest flight/hotel combo for the longest distance you can get (AA roundtrip is cheap but is $205 including taxes alone).
Expedia may be pulling the IHG200 promo. Book it now or forever hold your peace.
It's going to be more difficult to find a hotel since they are no longer listing the deal for each specific participating hotel.
You can always check to see if the deal is still working by checking the Candlewood Suites in Las Vegas or any other known participating hotel and apply the code on the checkout page (just above the logos for MasterCard, Visa, AMEX, etc).
Orbitz coupons are not one time use per account or credit card like Expedia. You can use them over and over and I have.

I got here Los Angeles to Miami 9/26 - 9/29 for $80 at the Candlewood Suites Miami Airport West. When using the other mastercard coupon $200 off with the cheapest hotel it only cost $33! Rep!!!:lol:
Using the Expedia IHG $200 off I booked MAD to LIS 20-23 August flying TAP and staying at Holiday Inn Lisbon Continental for $188.00 (Just missed 19-22 Aug for $128, but the fare went up while booking)
I checked MANY European cities to try to find a cheap side trip where this promo would work and Lisbon was the only I could find with bookings for less than $200. This may be useful for some of you who got in on the Delta deal to MAD.
