How about Caesars Palace for 145 all in (Tax + Resort Fee)? Is this a good place?

The issue with CP is its age; by coincidence it is celebrating its 50th anniversary this month.

The rate you are qouting is a "hot rate" that is legitimate, however, it yields a room in the Forum building, the oldest and least desirable rooms in the entire Caesers complex - the opposite of luxury.

You would need to spend at least USD 60 more (or higher) for an Augustus tower room at Caesers, the bare minimum in my opinion.

And even that undesirable Forum room goes to USD 379 on January 4th and to USD 689 on January 5th.

So if a room not suite is fine, I refer again to Cosmo. Rooms start at USD 190.

Pretty much every Strip resort keeps at least one pool open thru the winter or allow access to a neighbor with an open pool. Some will reopen a pool if weather is good or for special events. I was at MB one time in January and they have a pool open all year and then they opened the whole complex for a week.

Venetian has a deal on Twitter with $150 resort credit, two night minimum, for as low as $159 per night.

Has anyone had luck with the free show tickets through the MGM Entertainment Promo link?

I entered my confirmation # for my upcoming August visit and none of the shows are showing available tickets.

Ceasar's deals

Yes, cheapest rates always the Forum tower, BUT:
1) Forum HAS been going through an update so not gross like it used to be, and
2) $20 tip has ALWAYS worked for me there. Just two weeks ago DURING A PRETTY LARGE CONVENTION even I ended up in an oversized room in one of the new towers very near the pools

I checked out the Mirage for a few days in September and the Royal Caribbean offer essentially added the "resort credit" to my overall total. For example, best rate I was able to find was around $750 for 3 nights (including all fees/taxes/etc.). The Royal Caribbean was $900 but with a $150 resort credit.

Has anyone else experienced the same?

Using RoyalOffer 2016

I am going to Las Vegas for four nights. I wonder whether I can hotel hop and use RoyalOffer 2016 twice, that is, stay at MGM Grand for two nights and then stay at New York New York for two nights. Thanks.

Can confirm that you can. I just used this on Aria, Vdara and Bellagio last month.

Is the $20,- trick still usefull at check-in for instant at the Venetian or does this not work anymore and do you look like a fool when trying this?
