SLS is at the end of the light rail that will take you as far as the MGM Grand with stops in between. They have several different passes for different numbers of days/trips, so getting around is not hard at all.

www.mycheapvegas.com has them all, but wait for cyber Monday, I imagine that's when all the best deals will come out. Those deals usually only last a couple days max though so I'd book it once it comes out, and rebook if you find something better later on.

March will be tough. If you can find a good deal jump on it. With spring break and march madness...prices can get very high towards the end of the month

Staying first time in may in Vegas.I am on a buget...is the stratosphere tower hotel ok?
I read that bus 108 stops in front from the airport and you can go up the tower for free when staying in the hotel.
What is a good price for that hotel?
Recommened?
I only wanna see the strip and maybe shopping in a mall...I am mot into gambling

If you can find Cosmo, Bellagio, Caesars or Aria for 50% off I would love to see that deal!

The stratosphere is too far north on the strip foe easy walking. My opinion the best location and nicest is Planet Hollywood for the money. It is centrally located and a doable walk south to Mandalay and north to SLS. Take a rest at SLS and you can walk to the Stratosphere. As long as you are physically able definitely doable. We just did and are over 60.

Take the bus and see the downtown. Mob museum was very informative and great pizza around the corner at Pizza Rock. Try to do in the afternoon so you will be there at night for the light show.

Yes. I booked 10 rooms through lmtclub.com for a bunch of friends - Just when you check in, make sure you put their name on the room so they can get keys or charge things to the room.

This is a gift. I will pay for the room, but won't be in Vegas with the guests. Will they have any problem checking into the hotel? (Paris)

As long as they're 21 and over, and you book the rooms under their names, it'll be fine.

PH rooms are incredibly small...especially compared to other czr properties such as caesars palace.

And walking to mb from ph at over 60. Wow. I hope to be in that kind of shape at that age.

Just rent a car. It's cheap and opens things up for you beyond the strip. I just booked a 3 week rental for $375 ai at advantage.

Agree with renting a car. You can get a deal and there is free valet or self parking everywhere.

It's not really that far, like 30 minutes. Given that health experts recommend 30+ minutes of at least mild exercise a day like walking...

Also, car rentals aren't THAT cheap, compared to taking the Deuce and walking.

I rent cars a lot in Vegas too, but it does mean you shouldn't plan on having a lot of adult beverages to drink at the casino.
