There is actually conflicting information in their terms and conditions to this regard...

I assume this means that you might get a 1099 (for those outside the U.S., this is a U.S. form you would receive for income you received through a gambling or sweepstakes-type source) or something similar for "winning" a prize if the value is over a certain amount ($500 I think?), but you will not owe anything at the time you book.

I think this is exactly right..."winners" will get a 1099. Oh how this has changed from getting hotels for $1. Now, depending on your tax rate you will really be paying a % of what they say its worth. So if you get a $400 night hotel in NYC and are 25% tax bracket, its still going to cost you $100 a night when tax time rolls around. Not near as good as first thought.
Check out the Rock Lake Resort in Fort Myers, fairly reasonable and only a few miles from the ballpark. Also if you get the chance to come in late Feb, check out the practice fields on Edison since it is free and closer access to the players for autographs.

Thanks for the advice Judy! Looks like all the hotels went undercover on LMT. GO RED SOX!!!!!
Arrrrrrrgh! I have been refreshing it ALL morning, finally got the countdown when it was at about 5+ minutes left, and because they showed me a couple of stupid "How To" videos in the middle of the booking, the time ran out just as I was putting in my CC info! What a rip!
Did anybody get in on the deal? The time just ended at about 9:53 am central time. I would've posted earlier to let everyone know, but I was only left with about 45 seconds in the promotion.
I logged in when there was about 6 minutes left. They put you through a ridiculous commercial during the booking process. Felt like 4 minutes long but it was probably about 30 seconds.
I booked four nights in ft. myers for 4 dollars. I got an email confirmation of my reservation. Does this mean I won?
I just happened to check the website with 6 minutes left in the 15 minute window. That should have been plenty (already had a room picked out), but they made me watch these long videos. Then they told me several times that I entered my password wrong. Time ran out just as I was entering the security code on my CC. Argh! Well, I probably wouldn't have won anyway.
I'm pretty pissed. They didn't give the full 15 min. It was only like 5. I was logged in and set the site to refresh every 30 sec, no way to missed it. I Entered all the info even the verification code at the end..then there was survey! And it was after I clicked the book button and I went trough the survey and then the sceen popped up that the time has ended!
Was there a hint anywhere that said it was gonna be just the past 15 mins ago? Also for everyone that tried...did you get to choose the hotel you wanted?
