DOn't thin this is going to do much for their business. I have been id'ing their undercover hotels using others sites and what I found is that their "discount" opaque prices are higher that most other websites advertised prices. I don't know if this is temporary or not , but the audience they have reached for this promotion (SD, flyertalk and others) are pretty savvy and can easily figure out which hotel is which and then compare prices.

We would also like to request that people refrain from posting ways to cheat the system. All bookings are checked and cross referenced. ANY double booking will get canceled, be it from couples, friends or family members residing in the same household, using the same credit card information, etc. We can also see who uses programs that speed up video content, who who uses programs to check for change, etc. We are working on making it so that programs such as these will no longer be effective in determining when a promotion starts. The first step was taken by deleting the clock from the front page. We are very aware of forums such as slickdeals, flyertalk, bargainfinds, fatwallet, and others.

don't know if you, or anyone here online read my post of yesterday, BUT, not only do they (LMT) move around the order of the listings, they also switch up the brief, generic listings for the hotels. at least they have done it during the $1 minutes...i printed copies...got the proof, they mix it up. so don't be so sure that the hotel you id'ed is one and the same one as before...ymmv

Now, if you really want people to stop using these programs, then have your clues make more sense first off. Second, give 15 actual minutes and not stick everyone with the time dragging video.
how can you make demands when everyday they stack the deck against us. that's like a radio station saying if you use an auto dial to win tickets we wont honor them..that is crazy
