I had gotten through the CC info, the survey, had put in the random code, and had just pressed the confirmation button at the bottom...and was told time was up.
The c4c was playing the tune a few times for me and came to check. I didnīt see the video and went back on to having coffee.
i'm a NOT a techie at all, but i have to give you guys a suggestion based on all the "false alarms" i've been reading about with this c4c program. we have now booked 4 different hotels on this sale between me, my girlfriend, and our families, all using this same computer.
download the firefox add on called reload every 3.0.0 or something like that. then, go to the hotels page on lmt.com and fill out all your hotel info, then search for it. once it brings up a list of hotels, right click the screen and select "reload every" from the menu and set it to refresh every 10 seconds. then turn up your volume. when the contest starts, you will hear the 1st video begin playing automatically, which clues you to run over and select the room that you want. then it's just one more video and you're done.
i was sleeping this morning when it went off, but it woke me up, i grabbed the laptop, filled out info, and got the all inclusive deal.
just a suggestion, b/c it's simple.
Well...it's clear how this company feels about the west coast...
hang in there, i have a feeling, based on the monk video, the pacific time might see it go again at 8 am. maybe 9, but i think 8.
i think those monks are carmelite monks (based on unscrambling letters above the door in the video) who are based in wyoming. the bell rings 9 times, and there are 9 monks, so i think at 9 mountain time, there will be a sale. but it could be pm.
and if it's not, that video was just a wild goose chase, b/c they did it on purpose.
score! got my "mom" 6 nights all inclusive at the gran caribe real resort in cancun. 5 star, ROYAL SUITE. sometimes they have good stuff on here, sometimes garbage.
What are you going to do if they ask for your "mom" at check-in since it's "her" CC?

first, i'm gonna bag the C4C thing...totally messed me this morning. after i spent oodles of time yesterday with it, i still missed out COMPLETELY this morning.
as far as timing for the next interval, not sure at all what the correct "monk count is"...if you watch the video, there are 9 monks walking together to the front. then there are 10 monks standing there when the single monks arrive.
so, either 9, 10 or 11 monks (depending upon if you include the one guy by himself or not)
watched the video a couple of times and that is what i came up with. also, i thought someone else on this blog reported that the monastery was based abroad somewhere, can't recall where...in which case that would totally change up the timeframe.
but, too, the monk is "returning" from his internet cafe (video) which i am pretty sure supposedly takes place in NY...
so, any thoughts out there?

Reason: oops...correction, there are never 9 monks...there are 10 monks walking and 10 monks greeting the monk by himself...sorry.
fsuga - those were very helpful comments. thanks! I have a question. Do you have to disable the "reload" after the video starts? won't the page keep reloading unless you do this?

I'm not fsuga, but yes you are correct that you need to disable it or the video will just keep reloading and reloading.
go to the LMT site, hotels page, fill in dates, people, star designation, place/destination and then hit search
once on the search site, you do not have to highlight the page, as C4C requires, correct? you simply enable the 'reload every' feature...correct?
then, when the '$1 video begins' we should hear it right away?, and then it KEEPS the information that we already loaded (location, dates, etc) while the video plays ???
also, when do you disable the 'reload every' feature? does it matter if you do it while the video is first playing?? or does that mess something up?
really hoping to get in today for a booking as i have devoted WAY TOO MUCH TIME at this.

thanks for the advice, too
i turn it off as soon as the video starts. if your computer won't be very close to you, perhaps you would be best served to set it to refresh every 30 seconds so you have time to get there and turn it off, otherwise, it will just reload the video again.
