I hope you're right, sc flier. I don't know about others here, but for me a 33-day advance cancellation policy is definitely not "last minute".

BTW, thanks to all for sharing all the small details you can remember from your speedy reservation race. For those (most?) of us who missed it completely, your descriptions make it easier for us poky participants to visualize and "train" for the next round.

Call me a loser, but I am staying up until the timer starts. We are going on a cruise in March and would love to score a nice Miami hotel 2 nights before the cruise.

Good morning fellow earlier watchers.

'On Request' rooms work too? Isn't there a great risk involved? Does the 'request' have to be completed within the window?

Good, im trying today to nab One night at the Minneapolis Graves 601 Hotel (which normally is about $200-270 a night)the night before I fly to Europe for Spring Break, So I don't to wake up bright and early to take the Amtrak at 5am from Saint Cloud, as this is the only option available to me.

I'm a little bit confused... Can you make more than one booking under the same name, address, and etc?

No, read this via their website:

Of course there are some conditions to qualify:

1 reservation for 1 room per person during entire campaign
To qualify the booking must be made online through www.LastMinuteTravel.com
The booking must be completed within the 15 minute time frame
LastMinuteTravel.com reserves the right to end the campaign at any time
Enjoy reading the terms & conditions? read them all here

It can be for 1 room for up to 7 days.?

On another note, how can one finally know when they have snapped the right time, where will that timer "appear"?

Hotel taxes are included. They just charge you is $1 per night.

@BIMMERKID2 Actually a splash screen appear first then you go trough a little video and then you can see the timer and it's ticking.
