Yes - but usually, they expired all coupons within 2 days of the "expiry date" shown on the promotion. They haven't been doing that with the recent codes - just US50, it seems.

The $49 coupon that expired on 12/31 is still available in the accounts that were opened before then. You can't get the $$$ any longer, but the cash still stands.
The US$50 accounts of mine that expired on 12/13, expired (the balance reverted to zero) around the 17th of December.

Not mine. I still have 15 $50 USD accounts which expires Jan. 31. I only needs two more nights and I plan to give away ten of my $50 USd which expires Jan. 31 +/- couple days.
edit: I just checked. All fifteen $50 from US50 are still intact. PM me if you want them, only ten available.
This is NOT a trade. I don't expect anything for return. So, Moderator, please don't reprimand for giving things away.

I'm sure you'd be able to sell them on Ebay for a pretty penny. Just a thought. If you want to give them away, you are quite generous!
None of my original US$50 accounts lasted longer than a few days past expiry. This was the case with a few other people, too. The Foxtel one also died out, IIRC?
Maybe they missed you (or I was unlucky)!

We are a family of four from Canada currently travelling around the world. We are in South Africa for another 4 days before heading to Madrid. I came across this coupon thread for hotelclub in December and we booked about 6 nights using the codes and saved a great deal of money (something we have much less of after traveling for 6 months and the economic turmoil in the world). We had a great stay over newyears outside of Joberg using the 25lb coupon. I had intended to open up a number of accounts to help us through the last couple of months of our trip, however, we had an internet problem just before the coupon expired!! Then a couple of days ago we saw the $30US coupon, not as good as before, but still very helpful (especially when you are forced to book two rooms at a time - unlike North America most countries charge for kids). I just booked a twin room in Madrid for the 20th of Jan and went to open a new account and realized there was a Jan 13th deadline date so I couldn't open a new account to take advantage of another $30 off for our 2nd room.
If another coupon or promotion occurs could you email us as we have our blackberry but don't always have access to the internet.
I found out about Flyertalk before our trip began in July 2008. A very kind person helped my daughter (9 yrs old) and I achieve AA Platinum status with a challenge before our trip started. We have been fortunate to be able to use lounges all over the world while on a rtw ticket. Our old username was Misnertrip but I forgot the password.
Thanks in advance for any help you could provide us.....

I want to thank you all, for the info on this $20 discount. I used it for a $50 Clarion Orlando (near Radisson Worldgate): thus only having to pay $31 tax included. Thanks a bunch again for this great tip!!
Location: Northern Virginia - IAD is my home airport.

I gave away all 10 US50 $50 email accounts.
I am sorry to those who has less than 3 posts that I didn't respond to your email. I don't know if you were the same person who signed up three or fourth times just so you can get more than one freebie.
Again, this is NOT a trade or Exchange. I don't accept anything in return, I just want to give them away before they expire.
