sure you may - i've been using one card that's issued in DE (personal), the other one in AE (company) - I am using both cards daily, have been checking in in hotels and use them to purchase all my daily spending,..
I would be disappointed too! But are both card issue in U.S? or some other country? Some people got problems when they book using another country credit card
Both of these will give a member credit of $30 with a new signup. They are not stackable. I would probably use the first $30 link, as there is no expiration date shown while the second link is supposedly already expired, but still works just the same.
Not as good as the $50 credit, of course, but it is still possible to make good use of this $30 credit. For instance, a room at the Hooters Hotel and Casino is going for $28 on weekdays (checked early March,) which means that after taxes it comes to $1 after applying the member credit. Orlando also has a few properties available that after application of the member discount cost all of $6 or $7 per night, at some times it is free.

New $30 HotelClub promotion
Hey everyone,
A reader of my website contacted me today with a current $30.00 member dollar promotion. This is decent for anywhere cheap (ie. Vegas, Thailand, etc). The link is:

Even the $20 would have allowed me hostels in the cities I couldn't afford hotels in...but even the $30 means hotels in cities where there was nothing cheaper to begin with.

Yeah, it definitely puts most WR properties and the like into "decent" price categories (eg. $10/night). This should keep me busy for a while

sure you may - i've been using one card that's issued in DE (personal), the other one in AE (company) - I am using both cards daily, have been checking in in hotels and use them to purchase all my daily spending, i am seldomly using any cash and actually never have any issues with the cards. if there is some unusual spending, my bank will call, if there's an attempt to debit the AE card, I get a txt msg - i never got one from hotelclub!
i have no clue why they are not honoring the bookings and am extremely disappointed. i travel around 200 nights a year and am normally booking through agoda which also have a great reward program that lets you use these reward points towards hotel spend but sometimes they don't have the property i want to stay at and that's where hotelclub would have come in handy. under these circumstances, i will not use them again (except there will be another promotion where they are able to keep their promise). to me, this is a bait and switch and i am extremely disappointed...
Same happened to me. Booked with cards issued in South Korea. After a couple of weeks, on one day, every bookings I made got cancelled. I was really disappointed. Does anyone know if I can get hold of prepaid VISA gift card issued in USA through online?
Did you comment that if Triprewards sponsors you with 50$ pro booking you will gladly do so?
Actually since there were recent posts of some reservations being canceled I was reserve with my words with the innkeeper. I did say we were staying almost for free and that hotelclub had various promotions where you could earn points by "referring a friend" (not sure where that came from. I just opened my mouth and it came out).
Thanks to this promotion I was able to 'enjoy responsibly' on NYE and NYD for less than one round of drinks!

MileageAddict must have misread the current state of the thread. For anyone following this thread, this deal is NOT EXPIRED and you can still earn $30 member dollars through this link.

The deal that refuses to die. My mistake... I've corrected the thread title.

Is there an indication of when the new offer expires? I can't see one but maybe I'm missing something.
Sigh, I just used my last $49 discount this morning. I have stuff booked for everybody I know. Now I'll probably have to create a bunch of makebelieve email addys.
