I am in Vegas's airport right now. I booked Wynn and Trump using hotelclub. All the hotel stays were flawless. Not once did I had any problem and not once did I required to show them my confirmation vouchers. All I had to do was gave my name on checking in.

Moreover, all the "hot Deals" bonuses were honoured without questioned. I received room upgrades to Strip View and $50 Food Credits from Wynn & Trump. After credits, Wynn was only $46 USD and Trump was only $28.

Thanks again OP for the deals!!!!!!

I booked Las Vegas via hoteclub for travelling at the end of Jan. After I booked it, I called the hotel - Treasure Island right away, they have my reservation!!! I think hotelclub (Orbitz) reservation system is connected together.

The bonus is no longer available upon signup. THAT has expired. However, for those who signed up while the offer was still valid, many accounts still have the member dollars in them. Eventually, those member dollars will be pulled, but until then, they can still be used.

I am kicking back in my hometown Travelodge for the third day of the six. No problems at all checking in. Innkeeper politely recommended I use triprewards for booking saying Hotelclub charges him 20 percent. Not sure if anyone else had stated that fact before.

Did you comment that if Triprewards sponsors you with 50$ pro booking you will gladly do so?

Try not to panic, it's IMO the luck of the draw. As mentioned by roadtripman, if it's not cancelled, it's a bonus to us. If it's cancelled, then 'oh well'...on to the next deal.

Some were cancelled 2-3 days after and others 1 week later. So there isn't a definite time frame.

sure you may - i've been using one card that's issued in DE (personal), the other one in AE (company) - I am using both cards daily, have been checking in in hotels and use them to purchase all my daily spending, i am seldomly using any cash and actually never have any issues with the cards. if there is some unusual spending, my bank will call, if there's an attempt to debit the AE card, I get a txt msg - i never got one from hotelclub!

i have no clue why they are not honoring the bookings and am extremely disappointed. i travel around 200 nights a year and am normally booking through agoda which also have a great reward program that lets you use these reward points towards hotel spend but sometimes they don't have the property i want to stay at and that's where hotelclub would have come in handy. under these circumstances, i will not use them again (except there will be another promotion where they are able to keep their promise). to me, this is a bait and switch and i am extremely disappointed...
