Actually, I'm booking a hotel normally costing $119, it's $109 on HotelClub thus these free dollars makes it a great deal at $60. Non-affiliated hotel, not in Priceline etc...

Thanks for your quick reply, will book any concrete plans then.
I've been trying to book 2 nights seperately on Saturday and Sunday so i can save $50 for each night but seems like they dont let me do that . It would be nice if I could use the Hotelclub dollars 2 more times for those nights .
Anyway , successfully used hotelclub dollars 3 times and saved $150 for 3 nights ,but i saw 4 diff. pending transactions on my credit card . If these charges went thru which means i've been charge for 4 times , are these their contact numbers that i can get hold of ?

Correct. However, I overdid it based on the fake expiration date of the member dollars; won't be able to use more than 4-5. Could really cash in but SPG Plat is too important for me so just using this for secondary cities. Oh well, live and learn, great deal anyway.
3 done and $180 out of pocket - the hotel would have cost me $357 otherwise. Not bad.
I found this promotion on RetailMeNot yesterday and I thought I'd share it with you. A reader of my website shared a similar coupon with me, which was targeted to Thai Airways users, but this one is open to the general public. This is a great value no matter which way you slice it.
If you look past the fact that this site uses the archaic voucher system, there are incredible savings to be had:

Update 12/10: This above URL has now been changed to a mere $20. There are other currently valid code links, which can be found within this thread. Seek and you shall find.
Not sure if anyone else has mentioned this but apparently you cannot book a room for the next day. We checked availability for tomorrow and there were plenty of options earlier today but when we just tried to reserve it shows all as unavailable. Clicking on the "what's this" tab reveals that they need a minimum processing time of 1 to 3 days. Kind of ironic since most bookings I've made have been real time/immediate confirmation. The rate tab shows "on request". Has anyone been able to complete a booking at this stage? Otherwise it's Priceline for us.

It seems as though they fax information to the hotel on the day of your arrival regarding your booking, which would explain why they need lead time of 1-3 days. For example, I recently completed a two-night stay in Austin, TX. When I checked in on the first day, the guy at the desk only had information regarding my first night's stay. I had to go back into the office the next day to "extend" my stay with the information from the second booking.

Not true. Reservations in the United States are booked through Orbitz and are done electronically. Your problem was not based on HotelClub but rather the hotels ability to retrive the information in their own computers.
Our other option at this point would be to book a room for Sunday night and show up tomorrow and act stupid. "Honey how could you get the date wrong?" Anyone tried that with any luck? FTR this is a hotel in our hometown run by an owner/operator that we stayed with during the expedia $50 off deal and we are staying there again on NYE.

Perhaps. However, I did see & read the fax that the hotel had regarding the first of my two reservations. There may have been a way that the hotel could have accessed the reservation electronically, but it seemed as though they were still operating by fax.

Again, that is due to that hotels access to their third-party reservations, not HotelClub's ability to send them electronically via their parent company, Orbitz, in the United States.
Not one one the hotels that I have stayed with has had my reservations faxed. In fact, during a 5-day stay, all reservations were already in their computer prior to my stay. Since it was a smaller hotel and the front desk was friendly, I was allowed to read all the info. sent from Orbitz.
