did anyone get points with Priority Club? Planing to stay a few nights at the CP in Prague and was wondering if a can collect points using my PC-Platinum Card
Personally, I have always gone with HotelClub.com as this has been my tried and tested site.
I've been a member of their Membership Program and being the frequent booker that I am, I always earn lots of member dollars and save more.
Their website is also very easy to use, lots of info and I can be sure that my credit card details are in good hands.
Both sites are big, legitimate and reliable travel websites. In the end, it's really up to you as to which site would offer the better rate, given the same inclusions.
I've just called hotelclub.com sydney number and they said the site has been having problems since last night and IT department is fixing it right now. Also told that should try in about half an hour.

What happens if I scheduled the room and pay no out of pocket and don't use it? I've read all the posts and hope I am not asking a question that has been answered.
BTW... roadtripman, BRG rocks!!
If you cancel a booking made using Member Dollars, the Member Dollars used for the booking will be reaccredited to your Member Account with their original expiration date. Member Dollars cannot be used to pay or offset the cancellation fee.
A notice to everyone. If you happen to book many rooms by a single card in a day, the payment will be rejected by hotelclub.com, NOT by your credit card company (or perheps by your credit card company). It seems hotelclub.com has credit card payment protection system to prevent any frauds. If you happen to have a problem like this, call their office in any city to provide your credit card details. After 24 hours or so, you can start making the payments again with that credit card. That's what has been happening to me.
Sorry if this has already been covered, but what if you booked a night and it was say $10 after the member dollars. But your plans change and you can't make the reservation anymore.
What happens if you no show? I mean I would think you would be out
only the $10 you paid? But I read other posts that make it sound like
they will come back and charge you the full price (before member dollars) is this accurate?
So is it better to cancel and pay the $15 or if you no show will you be out only $10 or will they charge you $60??

Absolutely NOT TRUE. I booked 15 room nights (3 rooms for 5 nights, 1 at a time) for two friends and myself using ONLY MY credit card. I had NO problem doing so and the bookings were all back to back using member dollars + my credit card. I even registered 15 HotelClub.com accounts for the member dollars just prior to the bookings.
In my view, it is ONLY your credit card company that blocks multiple transactions NOT HotelClub.com. Just looking at their website and from our experiences here in registering for their promos, it's easy to tell they don't have the technical knowledge to block multiple transactions.

Agreed. No problems on my end, 30+ bookings later.

Well, what you have said is more convincing to me.
But what I don't understand is, I call my credit card company, they say they have no reason to block my cards and they haven't blocked and I call hotelclub.com and they say my credit cards are rejected to prevent fraud.
What the hell is going on?? In the end, I had to use my friend's card to finish booking.

It could be either or, influenced by a variety of factors (credit card issuer, issuing country, purchase history, etc).
