It may say it is dead but like the prior promo before it expired, if you try to set up a new account, you'll STILL get $50 in member dollars.

Obviously the days are numbered for these promos, though.

What happens if I scheduled the room and pay no out of pocket and don't use it? I've read all the posts and hope I am not asking a question that has been answered.

BTW... roadtripman, BRG rocks!!

HotelClub.com is still billed for the room by the hotel. You're out nothing. Do you care?

Is anyone hoping to join reservations together at the hotel?

The page itself is back to normal. No more notice that the promo is over and you won't get your member dollars. There never was a moment you could not get the $50, though.

Thanks for the quick response. Actually, I do care...which is why I asked the question.

It does say in the terms and conditions that if you cancel, fail to show up, or leave early, they are able to bill you for the full charge of the room.

I don't know if they enforce or not.

FoxTel $50 (expires 1/31/2009) and Tube $49 (expires 12/31/2008) are still active. Yesterday, the FoxTel promo did have a notice that you wouldn't get any more member dollars if you registered but even with that notice posted, if you registered, you still would. That notice is gone and the offer is back as it was originally posted by HotelClub.com

The question as originally posted is if the room was paid with ONLY member dollars and you didn't show what would happen. Nothing to you as the member dollars already paid for the room as it is a PRE-PAY. Even if you paid with member dollars and partial payment with your credit card, you still will be out not a cent more as it is PRE-PAID. The only ones where they could collect on are last minute rates which are not totally pre-paid.

It's 15 euro if you cancel, if you cancel within 3 days or so, it's the full room cost. And they dont take the 15 euro from your credit, it's taken from your credit card.

FoxTel promo shows this notice again: ***This promotion is no longer available. You can NOT get any member dollars from this page.*** but if you register, their system is still giving the $50 in member dollars. The Tube promo is still the same.

$15 U.S. dollars, as well, but again that isn't on top of what you paid. The most anyone can be out is the full room cost (member dollars plus partial payment by credit card, if any).

If you choose another language except for english, deutsch, espanol, you will still get the USD 50.

I have tried chinese, french. Both work!
