Sorry I have to add that I'm looking at hotels in the 50 - 60 Dollar range so 6% cash back is worth than 4 pounds

Just used my first booking with Hotel Club tonight. Two 1-night stays at a Four Points Sheraton - The receptionist did not even bother looking at my vouchers and all she needed was my name (Believe it or not, she did not even check my passport).

At the account summary:

"Member Dollars Valid Until: 16-Nov-2010"

Will the $50 expire November 30, 2008?
The website http://www.hotelclub.com/us50/
now says:

*20 Member Dollars is equivalent to $USD 20. As this is a special promotion 20 Member Dollars will expire on 1 March 2008, otherwise all of the standard terms and conditions apply.
Instead of $50---

?????

Johnny-come-lately, eh?

Consider reading the thread, where this revelation has been revealed around a dozen times before you (and also, find a way to still get the $50!). That's why reading the thread (especially the recent pages) is necessary before posting! Just a thought.

Shhhh. Rename the thread "$20 off any hotel..." that way everyone will go for the $20... Then, maybe if we're lucky, because the $50 link, still buried in the thread isn't used, it'll stay alive a bit longer.

Only mods can change the title of a thread. But I did reflect the new $50 offer in the OP. Maybe I should remove it

I just booked a very cheap stay near YYZ for my early morning flight.

Regarding the Original link, I was able to sign up early enough to snag the $50 voucher (as opposed to the $20 they are offering now) and If I'm not mistaken, there are only 4 more hours in which to book something with that $50.

I'm glad to see that there is another $50 voucher now for Hotelclub.

And a big thanks to the OP, even if he's from YYC

I changed the title and gave it a bit of neutrality.

Can you use the $50 member dollar in the Last Minute Deals? I tried to book a last minute deal hotel but unlike the "regular" hotel booking site, it doesn't ask me if I want to pay by member dollar.

The hotel we want is not showing in the "regular" booking site but is showing up in the Last Minute Deals.

Many thanks to Roadtripman and CalItalian for posting the links - we were able to book 2 nights on this deal. Hoping to snag a third

We can't use member dollars for last minute deal because they want us to pay booking deposit through hotelclub and the balance to be paid at the hotel. What a pity.

I've booked about 30 nights so far ha ha.

Thanks - I'll look for an alternate hotel then.

Oops - if I knew there was someone from Edmonton reading this thread, I'd have talked slower.

Oh you know we love you anyways

Thanks.

Probably a good idea as this seems to be their marketing M.O. Some kind of discount club cash for sign-up will be offered, but amounts will vary...

Does BRG for Wyndham apply?

Found rate on hotelclub.com for a stay at a Wyndham hotel. The Wyndham.com rate is $1 more. Will the BRG apply? I read the terms of BRG, this site doesn't require membership for simple booking, only to get the $50 off.
