Keep your screen shots and original receipt. If they try and go back and charge you more, dispute via credit card company. HC will have no recourse to charge you any more than what you agreed to on your receipt. I wouldn't worry too much about past bookings, but all unused member dollars from these promos could disappear in an IT "mistake" or some other thing, so book now if you can!
I logged into a few of the accounts I created, and the $50 is still there -- BUT it now shows "Pending Account Balance: $0.00." In other words, I think it will drop down to $0 as soon as they get their act together.
I'm assuming, however, that reservations that are already made won't be canceled. I'm going to try to make a couple more this morning while I've still get the credits. The problem is that I don't have precise dates for what I need, but I'll do the best I can by estimating.

Pending account is just the amount of money that is pending from a reservation you just booked. In other words, if you booked a hotel and earned $5.0 member dollars, it will show up as pending until it clears.

Nope. We've already discussed this in this thread. When the promo comes to an end, those member dollars will disappear. The promo was scheduled to end on November 30, 2008. Those dollars will disappear the next day (Australian time). Book your deals THIS WEEK or you snooze, you lose.
